Order containing around 60 species of carnivorous marsupials in two families, plus the third recently extinct family of the Tasmanian wolf. Living memebers include the quolls, dunnarts, tnumbats, Tasmanian devils, and the recently extinct Thylacine (Tasmanian wolf).
