Elymian
Nota de aplicación
Culture and style of the Elymi, ancient inhabitants of the extreme west of Sicily, a people to whom a Trojan origin was assigned by ancient writers. Their chief centers were at Segesta and at Eryx (Erice). They are archaeologically indistinguishable in the Early Iron Age (ca. 1000-ca. 500 BCE) from their Sicanian neighbors. They were heavily influenced by the style of Greek colonists of Sicily.
