Nabeshima ware
Nota de aplicación
Japanese porcelain ware produced at the Nabeshima clan’s kiln at Ōkawauchiyama from ca. 1677 to 1871. Production consisted of sometsuke (underglaze cobalt blue, blue-and-white), aoki (celadon), and iroe (polychrome overglaze enamel) wares. In addition to developing original decorative processes, the kiln copied the Chinese doucai techniques.
