Seto ware

Japanese glazed ceramic ware produced in Seto by one of the so-called Six Ancient Kilns, dating from the 12th century to the end of the 15th century. Included are ash-glazed bottles, bowls, dishes and jars with four small handles, new shapes, patterns, iron glazed-wares and utensils for Buddhist rituals, and items household use, typically tea ceremony ware.
