Sultanabad ware

Ceramic ware produced at Sultanabad (modern Arak, Iran), especially from 13th-14th centuries. Types were minai (a method that preserved colors through firing), lusterware, faience in green and dark blue tones, often with molded ornamentation, and tiles richly decorated in luster.
