fan paintings
Nota de aplicación
A traditional and popular form of East Asian painting, screen fan paintings typically appear on round or ovoid pieces of silk, held taut by a circular outer frame attached to bamboo or wooden handles. Curved folding fan paintings, typically on paper, are mounted on long, thin ribs of wood, bamboo, or ivory, joined at a pivot which allows the fan to close.
