Michallet paper
Nota de aplicación
A type of handmade drawing paper that was textured and of high quality. It was a laid paper with a surface having rows of narrow parallel ridges on one side and a rougher, bumpy surface on the other side. A paper of this name is still produced by the Ingres paper mill, but scholars debate whether this paper is the same paper that was so prized by Seurat and other 19th-century artists.
