club-shaped beakers
Nota de aplicación
Straight-sided glass vessels, often decorated, with a bulging wall that narrows slightly near the rim, resembling a club weapon. The largest of these glasses held half a liter of beer. Smaller examples were used for wine. The creation of such glasses flourished during the second half of the 15th century, particularly in the Netherlands and Germany.
