Annual Italian festival that took place on the 29th and 30th of June, honoring Sts. Peter and Paul and as a tribute to the Pope. Two days of events, including fireworks, the ritual presentation of a fine white horse (chinea), and some 7000 gold ducats were made as tribute to the incumbent pope by the Kingdom of Naples (later Kingdom of the two Sicilies).
