Nota de aplicación
A form of damage to photographic prints, typically those with a gelatin layer, that occurs when a print is exposed to water or a high relative humidity while in contact with a smooth surface. The gelatin swells and reforms in the shape of the surface it is in contact with, causing the gloss of the print to be non-uniform. The term 'blocking' refers to the same cause, but that causes stacks of prints to adhere to each other.
