Nota de aplicación

Chairs featuring an ornamental design pressed into its back. This effect is created by the use of a sharp steel die stamp mounted on a roller, passed over the chair with great pressure, resulting in a perfect impression of a design that was literally pressed into the wood, giving the illusion of hand carving. Press-back chairs were popular in the late 19th-early 20th century.
