Nota de aplicación
Card game popular in the United States, Australia, and Great Britain. It was derived from the from a 19th-century Alsatian game called juckerspiel, from the fact that its two top trumps are Jucker, meaning "jack," and in turn this word may influenced the term joker for the extra card that appears as the topmost trump in the American euchre in the 1860s. Euchre is played by two, three, or four persons, usually with 32, but sometimes 28 or 24 cards.
