Nota de aplicación
Extinct group that resembled amphibians but are often not included within the Amphibia class in the most recent classifications. This group contained a great variety of semiaquatic forms such as the snakelike Ophiderpeton, the "horned" Keraterpeton, and the microsaurs, such as Asaphestera. The lepospondylians became extinct during the Pennsylvanian subperiod.
