Nota de aplicación

The family of Taxodiaceae was formerly regarded as a distinct plant family containing ten genera of coniferous trees: Athrotaxis, Cryptomeria, Cunninghamia, Glyptostrobus, Metasequoia, Sciadopitys, Sequoia, Sequoiadendron, Taiwania, and Taxodium. Based on genetic research, it is now generally accepted that all genera except Sciadopitys are actually part of the family Cupressaceae.
