Nota de aplicación
Adenosine triphosphate is an energy-carrying chemical found in the cells of all living things. It is a nucleotide composed of ribose, adenine, and a triphosphate group. ATP captures chemical energy obtained from the breakdown of food molecules and releases it to fuel other cellular processes such as biosynthesis, ion transport, and muscle contraction.
