Paper made from thin, flexible sheets obtained from the smooth, white, inner surface of tree bark, including Birch (genus Betula), paper mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera), Breadfruit (genus Artocarpus), or others. A similar or identical material may be used as a textile as well, called "bark cloth."
