Refers to the art and architecture of the Islamic dynasty of the same name that ruled Iraq and Azerbaijan from 1336 to 1432. The architect of the early Jalayirids continued in the manner of earlier local styles with an emphasis on geometric brickwork, stucco decoration, and fine inscriptions.
